KAUST research open week theme is Sustainability: Science for the Future with the aim to provide a positive outlook on our future, post-pandemic world.
The UNDP Saudi Arabia was invited to visit KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) and attend the Research Open Week focusing on Sustainability: Science for the Future.
UNDP Saudi Arabia Resident Representative, Adam Charles Bouloukos, Ph.D., and the Accelerator Lab's Head of Experimentation, Abdulrahman Alghamdi, had the pleasure to meet KAUST's President Tony F Chan, Vice President for Research, Donal Bradley, Vice President for Innovation and Economic Development, Kevin Cullen, Chief of Staff to the President, Teofilo Abrajano, Head of Sustainability, Ana Margarida Costa, to open the channel for potential collaboration between #UNDP and #KAUST. We are excited to carry this conversation further.
Attending #KAUSTResearch Open Week's panels and presentations, and witnessing KAUST's advanced research that is supporting ambitious local projects, helped demonstrate the critical relationship between science and the rapid political and social changes in Saudi Arabia.
